Kinesio Taping

Kinesiotaping was developed in the 1970’s by Dr Kenzo Kase to “create a therapeutic tape and taping technique which could support joints and muscles, without restricting range of motion”, You may recognise it as the multicoloured striping you see on many of today’s athletes. The tape is said to create a lift between skin and muscle to allow full mechanical function, but take the pressure off any damaged, injured or fatigued soft tissues. It is used to help recovery and pain control without inhibiting performance.

Taping can be part of your massage treatment or applied for you to use at home.
