A deep soft tissue massage developed to relieve muscle fatigue in overworked muscles and encourage optimum sporting ability. Sports massage is used to enhance performance and minimise the risk of injury. Regular massage should be an essential ingredient for everyone who enjoys exercise and wants to continue to strive for peak performance no matter how large or small the stage.

You may chose a sports massage at varying times in your training program and your therapist will be able to give the most beneficial treatment at each stage of your training. This could include:

The techniques used will vary depending on where you are in your long term training program and what is required on any given day. Advice could also be given on muscle imbalance, injury prevention, stretching, strengthening, overtraining and more. The Therapeutic Massage Clinic has links with local professionals in related areas and can recommend qualified and experienced associates where necessary.

Helen is a member of the Sports Massage Association. The SMA is the only totally independent Professional Association for sports massage practitioners and soft tissue therapists in the UK. It was set up in 2001 on the initiative of the English Institute of Sport (now Sport England) and maintains strong links with this organisation and all other home country sporting institutions.

24 hours cancellation is required for all sessions, failure to give this will result in full payment being due.
